Finished it tonight. :3
Spent about 5 hours total. Hope he likes it. T-----T Comission was for.. " Dream Catch Me" Which was the only real direction i had. All i could think of was floating in the clouds...so. I drew this. Char. -c-  Art -c-  Comments

...  but thanks for doing this  !I'll agree that the wings look a bit funky but I can understand how hard they can be and I read all the critique comments as well. But I have to say you did a great job on everything else! The markings and background are wonderfully done ^^! Again, sorry for the late response but thanks SSOOOO MUCH!!!  . Once I get back to work again I may see about getting another ;D Aww, Don't feel bad. I assumed that you had real life stuff to attend to. :3
I feel really bad about the wings, but they feel..so much better than the sketch did. x_x;; <33333333 Hehe, well, The only way we learn is threw practice and maybe next time you can do better ^^.
Hopefully I'll have a chance to start working on the sketches and everything soon again >.> My dad has been keeping me busy cleaning our yard and other house work in preparation for guests. But I see you've put some nice work up and I'll comment on that soon ^^! Aww, i know how that feels. I'm 180 though, really can't do anythign right now other than sit here and vegitate waiting for the swelling to do go down. :\
Ah yes. Wisdom teeth O_O. I have to get mine pulled soon and I'm NOT loking forward to it ;-;

Although `DEVlANT joined our community only a year ago, he's made sure to make his mark in as many ways as possible. Critiques
The reason I said it was a nice start, however, is because I think this piece could be really outstanding if a bit more attention was paid to small details. The feathers are really the only things that bother me about this as a whole. They look knobby and unrealistic. While a floating wolf with wings is unrealistic to begin with, using a simple reference of a bird wing, perhaps, would lend a bit more believability to the wings. Its right wing also is bending at a very awkward angle - the left wing looks wonderful, but the right wing falls short.
I also think this piece would benefit from higher contrast. I love the line work, yet I think the shading could be beefed up just a little bit to make this character stand out. What you already have going with the nifty tail and eyes is great, but including some very dark values and very light values would help give it more form.
The anatomy (except for that one wing, I feel) is spot-on, and I think the background is beautiful. Just a bit more 'oomph' could help this piece go from "good" to "great!"
